Saint-Laurent
Audrey Baillairgé
Audrey Baillairgé is a lawyer practising civil and commercial litigation in Montreal. Called to the Barreau du Québec in 2024, she also holds the French CAPA, allowing her to practise law in both Quebec and France. Her academic background includes international studies and two master's degrees: one in Common Law and Transnational Law, and another in International Business Law. Throughout her career, she has combined legal practice with an unwavering commitment to public service. Raised in Saint-Laurent, Audrey is deeply rooted in the community she now seeks to represent. She attended local schools, borrowed books from the Bibliothèque du Vieux-Saint-Laurent before she could even properly walk, spent countless hours studying for her CEGEP exams at the Bibliothèque du Boisé, played competitive soccer on Saint-Laurent's fields from childhood, learned to swim and later taught swimming at the YMCA, spent every summer at the Centre des loisirs de Saint-Laurent day camp before becoming a camp counsellor there, and grew up enjoying neighbourhood landmarks such as Parc Gohier, Parc Beaudet, Parc Hartenstein, Parc Decelles, and the Aréna Raymond-Bourque. These experiences shaped her deep attachment to Saint-Laurent and her conviction that strong communities are built through local engagement. From a young age, Audrey demonstrated a commitment to inclusion and fairness. Alongside her soccer teammates, she successfully advocated for the hijab to be permitted in their league so that Muslim girls could play alongside them without being excluded. That experience reinforced a principle that continues to guide her today: every person deserves the opportunity to fully participate in community life. Volunteerism has always been at the heart of Audrey's career. She has dedicated hundreds of hours to organizations providing legal assistance to immigrants, refugees, and individuals who could not otherwise access legal services. She currently serves as a pro bono lawyer with the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada's Pro Bono Legal Assistance Program, helping protect safe sport and abuse-free sport across Canada. Audrey has also made significant contributions to sports governance. She previously served as President of the Provincial Judicial Committee of Soccer Québec and now serves as an independent member of the Canada Soccer Compliance Committee, where she contributes to promoting integrity, accountability, and good governance in Canadian sport. Committed to defending the rule of law both inside and outside the courtroom, Audrey was also part of the legal team that appeared before the National Assembly of Québec to oppose Bill 1, contributing to the constitutional debate surrounding the proposed legislation. Audrey believes politics should be guided by integrity, respect, and service. She is running because she wants to give back to the community that raised her and help ensure Saint-Laurent remains a safe, welcoming, and prosperous place for future generations.

Will Twolan
Will Twolan is the Canadian Party of Quebec candidate for Pontiac. Having worked on provincial, federal, and municipal election campaigns, Will has built experience in political communications, governance, and public service. He previously represented the Canadian Party of Quebec in Pontiac during the 2022 Quebec election. Will’s roots run deep across Pontiac and the Outaouais, from Allumette Island to Aylmer. His family has lived, farmed, and served in municipal roles throughout the region for generations. Will grew up on his family’s cattle farm in Pontiac and has fond memories of attending the Shawville Fair, spending summers at The Fort (Fort William), and enjoying days at Parc des Cèdres in Aylmer. With both anglophone and francophone family roots, Will has a personal connection to the region’s rich history and diverse communities. Will has served in ex officio roles on academic boards at D’Arcy McGee High School and Cégep Heritage College, gaining experience in institutional governance and community representation. He holds a DEC in Social Science from Cégep Heritage College and a Joint Honours Bachelor in Communication and Political Science from the University of Ottawa. He is currently pursuing a Master of Communication at the University of Ottawa. Will is an unapologetic federalist who believes in a strong and united Canada. He firmly opposes separatism, nationalism, and regionalism, which he believes divide citizens, encourage identity politics, and isolate Quebec from the rest of the country. He believes Quebec has already lost too many years to governments that have placed separatist and nationalist agendas ahead of economic stability, investment, national unity, and the rights of citizens. Will also believes that no elected representative should take their riding or its voters for granted. Pontiac deserves an MNA who will defend the rights of its citizens, challenge laws that weaken Charter protections, and place the interests of the riding ahead of party convenience. He believes governments must uphold the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, not treat Charter rights as optional. Will strongly opposes the routine use of the notwithstanding clause to shield governments from accountability and override the fundamental rights of citizens.

Danilo Velasquez
Danilo Velasquez is an award-winning community leader, journalist, and volunteer who has dedicated more than 25 years to serving the people of the Ottawa–Gatineau region. His life has been defined by one guiding principle: service before self. Whether through volunteer journalism, community leadership, or public advocacy, Danilo has consistently worked to unite people, amplify the voices of those who are often unheard, and promote the well-being of all. Originally from Nicaragua, Danilo came to Canada seeking opportunity, freedom, and a better future. Canada welcomed him, and in return he has devoted more than two decades of volunteer service to giving back to the country he proudly calls home. Today, he is a proud Canadian, a proud Quebecer, and a proud resident of Hull (Gatineau). As the founder and producer of Quiénes Somos?, a bilingual English- and Spanish-language community social media platform, Danilo has spent 25 years telling stories that celebrate diversity, recognize community achievements, and encourage understanding among people of different cultures, languages, and backgrounds. His work has helped build bridges between communities and foster a spirit of respect, inclusion, and cooperation. Danilo's dedication to volunteerism has earned him national and local recognition. He is a recipient of the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers, one of Canada's highest honours recognizing exceptional volunteer service. He has also received the Mayor's City Builder Award from the City of Ottawa, the Mérite Citoyen Award from the City of Gatineau, recognition from the Prime Minister of Canada for his longstanding volunteer commitment, and the Canada Latin Awards recognition as Best Digital Presenter and Journalist. More than 25 years ago, Yesica Ochoa moved from Mexico to Quebec after earning her law degree from Universidad Anáhuac. Since then, she has built her life in Quebec, become a Canadian citizen, and developed a career that spans entrepreneurship, real estate, communications, the arts, and community service. As an entrepreneur and real estate owner, Yesica has managed rental properties and worked directly with tenants, contractors, insurers, financial institutions, and government agencies. These experiences have given her practical insight into the challenges of housing, small business, and navigating public systems. Believing that culture brings people together, Yesica co-founded Fondation Frères Unis par le Monde and serves as its President. Through the foundation, she produced Weekends du Monde – Mexico in collaboration with Parc Jean-Drapeau, showcasing Mexican culture as part of one of Montreal's largest multicultural festivals. A passionate communicator, Yesica created and hosted her online program Y porque no? Con Yesica O and volunteered as a radio host with Mike FM, and Radio Centre-Ville. Born in Toronto to Québécois parents and raised in a family of seven children, she developed a strong appreciation for both of Canada’s official languages and cultures from an early age. Fully bilingual in English and French, she has always viewed the ability to live and work in both languages as a valuable asset that helps build understanding, connection, and opportunity. In 2011, she relocated to Quebec’s Eastern Townships, where she continues to live and work. Her children, who were raised in Toronto, are also fluent in both French and English, reflecting her family’s longstanding commitment to bilingualism. She is married to a lawyer who grew up in the Eastern Townships and whose heritage reflects the rich cultural diversity of Quebec, with Irish and French-Canadian roots. Maryam Kamali Nezhad
Candidate for the Canadian Party of Quebec in Westmount–Saint-Louis For Maryam Kamali Nezhad, public service means listening to citizens, defending their rights, and putting her experience to work in pursuit of practical solutions. Now a resident of Westmount, Maryam is an engineer, manager, entrepreneur, and former municipal councillor. A wife and mother, she has nearly 30 years of professional experience in Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. Specializing in hydraulics and hydrology, she holds a PhD from the Institut polytechnique de Grenoble in France. She also completed postdoctoral research at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique and taught civil and mining engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. Since 2009, Maryam has worked at Hydro-Québec in hydroelectric generation planning and water resource management. Her work requires rigour, sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and long-term vision, particularly when balancing energy needs, infrastructure safety, and environmental protection. Alongside her professional career, she co-manages a Quebec company specializing in structural systems, industrial equipment, and storage solutions. This experience has given her a direct understanding of the realities faced by entrepreneurs, employers, and workers: rising costs, excessive red tape, high taxes, labour shortages, and difficulties accessing financing. Maryam believes Quebec has remarkable talent, abundant resources, and dynamic entrepreneurs, but that its economic potential is too often held back by bureaucracy, political uncertainty, and identity-based debates that distract from the province’s real priorities. She wants a Quebec that is more productive, more competitive, and more open to investment, trade within Canada, and international markets. From 2021 to 2025, Maryam served as a municipal councillor for the Town of Mount Royal. In that role, she defended transparency, fiscal responsibility, and meaningful public consultation. In 2025, she ran for mayor to promote a more accountable form of government that was closer to the people. This experience taught her that an elected representative must be willing to ask difficult questions, demand accountability, and remain true to her principles. A Canadian of Iranian origin, Maryam studied and worked in several countries before choosing Quebec and Canada as the place to build her life and raise her son. Her journey has taught her the value of democracy, individual freedom, the rule of law, equal opportunity, and political stability. Maryam is a committed federalist. She believes Quebec’s future lies within a strong and united Canada. She opposes Quebec sovereignty, as well as nationalist and identity-based policies that divide citizens, weaken their rights, and undermine Quebec’s economic stability. For Maryam, being both Quebecer and Canadian is not a contradiction. It is possible to take pride in Quebec culture, protect and promote the French language, and at the same time remain fully committed to Canada and its institutions. Able to communicate in both French and English, Maryam considers knowledge of both languages to be a cultural, social, and economic strength. She believes every citizen should be able to live, work, study, access government services, and feel fully at home in Quebec, regardless of which official language they speak. She supports promoting French through culture, education, economic opportunity, and inclusion—not by reducing the rights of another community. She believes in protecting the rights of Quebec’s English-speaking community, respecting the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and ensuring equality for all citizens. Michael Douris
I was born and raised in Greenfield Park, where I attended Centennial Regional HS. I studied at Dawson College and John Abbott, graduating in Police Technology. I hold a BA in Sociology with a minor in Quebec History from Concordia University, and a BA in Legal Studies and certificate in Criminology from Carleton University. I also have a diploma in Police Leadership from Dalhousie University, and a diploma in French in the Workplace from McGill University. In 1992 I served in the Canadian Grenadier Guards infantry reserve regiment, where I performed ceremonial guard duties for Canada’s 125th anniversary. I am recently retired after 30 years of service to Canada. I worked through the 1990s for Correctional Service Canada at Cowansville Institution and Centre de Formation Federal Institution, during the period known as “the biker wars”. I was employed as a correctional officer and institutional case manager. I was also part of the group who founded UCCO/SACC (Union of Canadian Corrections Officers) as well as the first President for my institution (CFF). Shortly after 9/11, I joined the Canadian Armed Forces as an Officer in the Military Polce service. I served as Commander, Montreal Region MP Detachment, and as well deployed to Kandahar Afghanistan as Operations Officer for the Canadian task force MP company. I was employed in pre-deployment training and oversight of subsequent task forces and am a recipient of the Commander Canadian Army Commendation for my role ensuring detainee handling procedures were conducted in accordance with Canadian values and International Laws of Armed conflict. I have also been employed as National Grievance Adviser and National Harassment Adviser. Throughout my professional and private life, I have been a stalwart defender of linguistic minority rights (French throughout Canada and English within Quebec) and a staunch defender of minority Charter rights. I was born into a world where Montreal was the jewel in the crown of Canada, and an internationally renowned economic and cultural powerhouse. A world in which my province was the prime innovator and leader of the greatest country in the world. I am a candidate for the Canada Party of Quebec because I believe it is the only party whose platforms and priorities seek to return Quebec to its rightful place and stop the perpetual descent into ever more extreme attacks on individual rights in the name of ethnonationalist doctrine. We are not fair-weather federalists; we believe Canadian Exceptionalism and respect for Rule of Law are key to Quebec’s prosperous future.

Paul Henry Danylewich
Paul Henry Danylewich is an experienced entrepreneur, public safety specialist, community leader, and the Canadian Party of Québec candidate for the National Assembly of Québec (MNA) in the electoral district of Robert-Baldwin. Growing up in the Chomedey district of Laval, Quebec, Paul is the son of a police officer. He attended Chomedey Polyvalent High School, graduating with the class of 1985. He pursued extensive higher education in Montreal, earning dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Education and Sociology from Concordia University, followed by a graduate diploma in Adult Education and Public Administration from Concordia. He later earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western New Mexico University. While attending university, Paul developed a deep professional interest in martial arts and personal safety. As the program director of the White Tiger Group he developed a specialized assault prevention system focused on women, teen girls, and high-risk frontline workers. He is the author of Fearless: The Complete Personal Safety Guide for Women, published by the University of Toronto Press, alongside numerous articles on personal security and crime prevention. Recognized as a leading authority on personal safety, Paul's expert advice has been featured across North American media. In Canada, he has appeared nationally on programs like Canada AM, while in the United States, his work has been featured on NBC television's The John Walsh Show. His safety insights and commentary have also been published in major newspapers, including the Montreal Gazette, Toronto Star, and Chicago Tribune. In addition to his security consulting and media background, Paul spent two years working for the Government of Alberta in Edmonton as a Corporate Security Coordinator and Emergency Response Training Advisor for the Ministry of Human Services, developing provincial workplace violence prevention programs. Returning home to Montreal, he transitioned into business ownership as the founder of the commercial and residential landscaping firm Paul Henry Landscaping Beyond his professional background, Paul made national news headlines when CTV News featured his viral ""Fly the Flag"" campaign. As a proud local business owner, he offered free lawn care services throughout the month of May to homeowners displaying the Canadian flag, sparking a nationwide conversation about national pride, unity, and resilience. Deeply committed to grassroots philanthropy, Paul organizes annual community fundraisers—such as ""Big Paul's Summer Country Fest""—to directly support critical regional organizations, including the West Island Mission food bank and local women’s shelters. As the president of the Association of Citizens of Dollard, Paul has been on the front lines of municipal accountability. He served as the organizer of major community demonstrations—including public rallies and protests in Dollard-des-Ormeaux and the surrounding West Island region—demanding immediate action, accountability, and better infrastructure support following severe regional flooding. Meet Dale Langille For Dale Langille, public service has never been about politics—it has always been about people. A lifelong resident of the Châteauguay Valley, Dale was raised in Hemmingford, where he and his wife built their home and raised their three adult children. His roots in the community run deep, and throughout his life he has been committed to helping neighbours, strengthening local organizations, and making the region an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. Dale's dedication to serving others has been evident in every chapter of his life. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, he cared for seniors and vulnerable residents with compassion while coordinating staffing and daily operations in a long-term care facility. As a municipal councillor for eight years, he worked to ensure local government remained accessible, accountable, and focused on the needs of the people it serves. Whether making difficult decisions at the council table or listening to residents' concerns, Dale has always believed that leadership begins with listening. His commitment extends far beyond public office. Dale has coached youth soccer and volleyball, served on numerous community committees, and coordinated volunteers through Service d'Action Bénévole Au Cœur du Jardin, bringing people together to support families and individuals throughout the region. "Ngaire DeNora is a dedicated community advocate, ATV safety activist, certified caregiver, and active volunteer based in Stanstead, Quebec, in the Eastern Townships. Self-employed as a certified caregiver, she has built her career around helping others and strengthening the well-being of her community. Ngaire pursued her education at both Champlain College and Bishop’s University, experiences that helped shape her commitment to public service and community engagement. In 2018, she established the Myles Memorial Welding Scholarship Fund at the Lennoxville Vocational Training Center in memory of her son, Myles, who was a welder. The scholarship continues to support aspiring welders and remains active today, reflecting her ongoing dedication to education and skilled trades. A passionate volunteer, Ngaire contributes her time to organizations such as Phelps Helps and Sunnyseed Gardens, demonstrating her commitment to supporting local residents and fostering a strong, connected community. Ngaire believes that Anglophones and other minority communities in Quebec deserve a strong and effective voice. My journey began at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire in 2001. Growing up as an only child encouraged me to build friendships and connect with people from all walks of life. It taught me to approach others with curiosity rather than judgment and to value perspectives different from my own. Over time, that curiosity expanded beyond personal relationships and became a desire to better understand how Quebecers and Canadians live, work, and build society together. A defining moment in my life came when I was 16 years old at Loyola High School. As part of a humanitarian trip, many of us in Secondary IV travelled to Consuelo in the Dominican Republic, where I lived with a local family for a week. Before arriving, I expected the challenges of poverty to dominate daily life. Instead, what stood out most was the strength of the community. Despite significant socioeconomic hardship, I found people who were welcoming, optimistic, and deeply connected to one another. I came to believe that this sense of community helped people face adversity with resilience and hope. Returning to Canada, I began to notice that although we enjoy tremendous prosperity, many people feel increasingly disconnected from one another. That realization inspired my interest in politics because I came to believe that the ultimate purpose of government is to unite people around our common goals and help solve the common challenges that affect us all. After graduating from John Abbott College, I enrolled at Bishop’s University, where I earned a degree in International Political Economy. My studies explored the relationship between economics, politics, and public policy, while courses in business, sociology, and history broadened my understanding of the many issues that shape our society. Rather than specializing in a single field, I wanted to become a well-rounded thinker who could understand problems from multiple perspectives and engage thoughtfully with people from different backgrounds. That foundation proved invaluable when I represented Bishop’s University at the National Model United Nations in New York City. Working alongside my partner, I negotiated with delegates from around the world, built consensus, and defended positions on complex international issues. At the conclusion of the conference, we were honoured to receive the Best Delegate award. The experience reinforced the importance of preparation, collaboration, respectful dialogue, and finding common ground, even among people with very different views. Today, at 25 years old, I am proud to stand as the Canadian Party of Quebec’s candidate in Nelligan. I believe politics should bring people together rather than divide them. We face real challenges, including the rising cost of living, access to healthcare, protecting our fundamental freedoms, and ensuring Quebec remains a place where families and businesses can thrive. These challenges deserve practical solutions that unite us instead of pitting us against one another. I believe our identity is defined not by our language, religion, or culture, but by our actions and our shared commitment to one another. My goal is to help build a Quebec that is more united, more prosperous, and more welcoming for everyone who calls it home.

Jonathan Gray
Jonathan has been involved with the Canadian Party of Quebec since 2022. In the previous provincial election, he ran in the riding of Robert-Baldwin in the West Island, where he garnered more than 4% of the vote with a new party that was officially registered only three months before the election. This was a strong indication that voters who knew the party wanted fresh and honest leadership. Jonathan has a background in Environmental Sciences and a strong affinity for responsible environmental protections while also recognizing the need for economic development. He is also concerned with the state of education in Quebec, including laws that disadvantage the English school system. The condition of schools and the curriculum taught are topics of great concern to him. Jonathan is currently employed as a high school teacher of science and technology in Chomedey, Laval. He also manages a local green club and community garden with more than 25 active residents and students. Jonathan has sat on multiple boards, including the Laval Junior’s School Board and teacher councils, and currently serves as a sector director with the Laval Teachers’ Union. He is running as a candidate in the riding of Chomedey and believes voters should choose the honest and fair leadership offered by the Canadian Party of Quebec.

I joined the Canadian Party of Quebec in 2022 because I believe Quebec’s minority communities deserve stronger representation and a genuine federalist alternative. As the daughter of Italian immigrants, I experienced language-based exclusion firsthand. In the mid-1960s, despite speaking French and being raised Catholic, I was refused admission to French-language school. Years later, I chose French-language education for my own daughter, determined that she would have the freedom to belong to both of Quebec’s linguistic worlds. I spent more than 40 years in commercial lending, including senior roles with Accord Financial, the Bank of Nova Scotia and Bank of Boston Canada, specializing in asset-based financing for mid-market businesses. My career taught me to assess risk, challenge assumptions and distinguish facts from rhetoric. The passage of Bill 96 in 2022 convinced me that it was time to move from observer to participant. I have been a board member of CaPQ since May 2024. I also managed built four Anglophone Facebook groups with more than 10,000 members combined. I am committed to federalism, bilingualism and the equal dignity and rights of all Quebecers.

A long time resident of Acadie, Roula is closely connected to the neighbourhood’s families, community organizations, and social realities. Her commitment to inclusion and social responsibility is reflected in her role as Vice President of ALEDIA, an association dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. In this leadership position, she contributes to strategic planning, program development, and community outreach, helping strengthen support networks for vulnerable families and promoting dignity, accessibility, and inclusion. Professionally, Roula has held key roles in the Ministry of Justice, major property management firms, and corporate operations. She has developed expertise in coordination, stakeholder relations, and problem solving, managing complex files and supporting decision makers in high pressure environments. Her experience collaborating with judges, lawyers, tenants, clients, and service providers has shaped her commitment to transparency, responsible management, and clear communication. Roula’s academic background includes studies at Université de Montréal and Collège Lasalle, which complement her professional experience and reinforce her grounded, pragmatic approach to public issues. Glisandy Mejía Rosario is a man of action, discipline, and conviction. Born in the Dominican Republic and a Canadian citizen since 2010, he embodies a journey of integration through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. A professional boxer and both a Silver and Golden Gloves champion, he developed through sport the values that continue to guide him today: discipline, respect, and resilience. A graduate in criminal litigation from the Bar Association College of Santo Domingo, an entrepreneur since 2012, and a Class 1 truck driver since 2020, he understands the realities faced by workers and job creators in Quebec. The father of three children, he is also an artist, writer, actor, and comedian with a passion for literature. He is a strong advocate of the principle of “live and let live.” His political commitment is driven by simple yet strong values: work, family, justice, freedom, and respect for every individual. Convinced that each person is the master of their own destiny, he hopes to put his practical experience and firsthand knowledge at the service of the citizens of Viau.

She shared her awe of nature and her commitment to environmental stewardship while showcasing Canada's majestic beauty as a certified guide and tourism professional. Later, while raising a young daughter, Joyce's personal health journey led her to become a certified Reflexologist and CranioSacral Therapist. She operated a successful complementary wellness practice from her home for more than a decade. Believing that collaboration creates even greater success, she founded the West Island Complementary Health Alliance (WICHA), bringing complementary health care professionals and sustainable businesses together to strengthen their collective impact while helping each business succeed. Joyce's entrepreneurial spirit and her belief that healthy people and a healthy planet are inseparable inspired her to create eCause Canada Inc., an innovative fundraising company that helped schools and charitable organizations raise tens of thousands of dollars with environmentally responsible products. Her vision was simple yet transformative: support children, families, and community organizations today while helping build a healthier, more sustainable future. As a volunteer and advocate, Joyce served on the regional Board of the Quebec Federation of Home and School, supporting and advocating for families and their rights in public education.
