Housing
Housing in Quebec has become unaffordable, unstable, and unfair — with soaring rents, unchecked AirBnBs, too few affordable builds, and rising evictions leaving many behind. Young people can’t afford their first home, minimum wage earners are pushed out of cities, and low-income tenants lack basic protections. The Canadian Party of Quebec believes housing is a public good, not a privilege. Our plan aims to restore fairness, rebalance the system, and provide real pathways to stability, ownership, and community — with a clear, responsible, and compassionate approach.
