Methodology

What this model includes

The calculator applies the four statutory Quebec rates and thresholds, then subtracts a basic personal amount credit at the first-bracket rate. The status quo indexes the 2026 parameters by 2% annually. Results exclude federal tax, deductions, refundable and non-refundable credits other than the modeled BPA, payroll contributions, and individual circumstances.
