I was born in Istanbul, Turkiye in 1964 and moved to Montreal, Canada in 1973. My diverse educational journey includes extensive classical musical training at the McGill Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Psychology from Concordia University. Over the course of my career, I have truly become a generalist. I have worked in a microbiology lab, handled customer service and order processing for manufacturing at Wire Rope Industries, and spent over two decades in the IT field—most notably at the BMO Financial Group helpdesk and provisioning department, before retiring in 2022. Outside of my professional life, I have a wide array of passions, including classical and digital piano, photography and videography, desk PC flight simulation, and aquarium-keeping. I am also an avid reader of classic literature, poetry, and World War II history.91011121314 Living in Quebec my entire life, I have always proudly identified as a Montrealer and a Canadian. I firmly believe that we are stronger together, rather than separated. For me, politics is not a game to secure votes; it is a serious system meant to serve the people and fix persistent problems. Having worked alongside many different socio-economic classes, I understand the everyday struggles of ordinary people. I am ready to use my voice as an uncompromisingly direct and clear communicator to foster a mutually respectful, happy, and unified society in Quebec within Canada.
